Meetings
The SEL Event Center is the place to be when it is time to conduct business away from the constant interruptions of the office. Easy access, comfortable space, the latest technology, and great customer service are all located in one building. Capable of handling from 8–800, the center offers endless opportunities.
Faraday Hall
At 7,100 square feet of open floor space, Faraday Hall is the most open, user-friendly room available on the Palouse. We can seat more than 800 in theater fashion or more than 300 in a classroom setting. With three drop-down screens, a sound system, and extensive video equipment available, Faraday Hall will help keep everyone in your meeting on track and informed.
Clarke Room
With comfortable chairs, classroom tables, and built-in screen and projector, the Clarke Room will make the most of your smaller meeting.
Tesla Room
A mirror image of the Clarke Room, the Tesla Room can be used for a small meeting, or use both rooms for breakout sessions from Faraday Hall.
Edison Room
With its maple boardroom table, leather chairs, and comfortable atmosphere, the Edison Room offers the perfect environment to really concentrate on the work at hand. Set for ten, there is ample space to set up displays or just coffee. The Edison Room will make the most of your meeting.
Outdoor Patio
For a refreshing break, there are two patio areas: one off Faraday Hall, opening up to our 9,000-square-foot lawn area; and one on the north side, with some relaxing tables to sit and enjoy a breeze, or just some outdoor calm before the next meeting starts.
Lawn Area
Tailored toward an outdoor reception or wedding, our lawn area has more than 9,000 square feet of space to walk around in, or even to stage an outdoor lunch break.
